All our hair is South Indian temple hair. It's collected from single donors, so the cuticles stay intact and run in one direction. That's what keeps it soft and tangle-free.

Raw hair is never chemically processed: no acid wash, no silicone coating, no chemical perm. It's cleaned and sorted, then wefted. Because nothing is stripped or coated, it lasts much longer than processed hair.

Our textures are set with steam, not chemicals. Tighter steam-set curls need a little more care in humid weather.

Yes. Raw hair takes color and bleach well, and you can curl or straighten it with heat. Always use a heat protectant.

Raw hair has a natural, soft sheen. Very shiny hair is usually coated with silicone, which washes out. With the right products, our hair gets shinier as you care for it.

Raw hair is a natural product, so shade and pattern can vary slightly from batch to batch. We match each order as closely as we can. Ask us for current photos or videos of the hair you'll get before you buy.

• It has some natural split ends.
• Slide a strand between your fingers from tip to root: you'll feel the cuticle.
• There's no chemical smell and no slippery silicone coating.
• Hair that melts or smells like burnt plastic when bleached or heated is mixed with synthetic fiber.

For a full sew-in up to 18", most clients need 2–3 bundles. Over 22", or for a fuller look, plan for 3–4. Add a closure or frontal if you're doing a leave-out-free install. Our hair is tapered naturally (short hairs under 8" are removed), so the ends stay full.

Every bundle is 100 g. Tape-ins and I-tips also come in 100 g packs.

Our wefts are triple-stitched on multi-head machines. They're tight and neat with minimal shedding, but still easy to sew through.

HD lace is very thin and melts into every skin tone, so it's the most invisible. Swiss lace is a little thicker and stronger, so it lasts longer and costs less.

• Use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner.
• A few drops of argan oil keep it soft. Avoid heavy oils, or wash them out well.
• Detangle gently from the ends up, and sleep with it braided or in a silk scarf.
